Presenting SRCCL E-Journal 'Baalavani' 5th issue

Sir/Madam,

Greetings from the State Resource Centre on Child Labour !

It is a pleasure to present the 5th issue of SRC E-Journal 'Baalavani' to all our valuable readers. We regret and apologise for the delay in publishing this issue, under inevitable reasons. In this issue:

Effort has been made to seek opinion of several people working in the development sector on giving a 'synergic approach between programmes under RTE and child labour elimination programmes.' Answers have been obtained from youth for 5 questions on participation of youth and DYSS in child labour elimination efforts. Effort has been made to highlight the activities and achievement of 'Yuvalok', a Bangalore based NGO for the cause of underprivileged children. We are glad on receiving good comments about the journal from several readers and thank them all for their wishes. Also we would like all our esteemed members/readers also to give their opinion.

We also invite:  relevant write-ups, articles audio/video, newspaper/media clippings drawings, paintings, stories, articles, etc., written by rescued and rehabilitated child labourers profile of NGOs/CSOs working for eliminiation of child labour, child laobur/children welfare projects undertaken, case studies, future projects, achievements, interesting pictures, illustrations, etc.You can e-mail your opinion or post it on our website http://karunadu.gov.in/karnatakachildlabour/ejournals/ejournaldisplay.aspx
